Paradiso or paradise really does exist at the Soneva Fushi Resort
with classic movies such as Citizen Kane and Gone with the Wind
being shown on the beach under the stars at Soneva's private cinema,
Cinema Paradiso.
For those who get hungry during the movie, chefs are on hand to
barbecue prime cuts of meat.
For those with less carnivorous tastes at this 65 residence resort,
there is the Organic Garden Restaurant which focuses on fruit, vegetables
and fish, with Soneva's homemade ice-creams and sorbets for afters.
With its access by stairway onto a suspended rope-and-plank bridge
to a dining experience four metres above the ground, this organic
restaurant could be something straight out of (five-star) Robinson
Crusoe. In fact, the whole resort could be - so much so that guests
can opt to be whizzed out to Soneva's own desert island for a picnic. |
